a needle in his hand!!!! I got the lecture about missing blood tests and how important they were so i said fine and i'll make an appointment, only to turn round to see him stood there with a needle and blood tubes in his hand. Aaarrrrrrgggggghhhhhhhhhh hhh!!! I hate blood testd, i hate needles!!! There was no escaping though and he jabbed me in my right arm and got a few drops before my vein decided to move!! Of course, being right-handed, i spent yesterday not being able to move my arm because it seized up - this happens every time and i have a lovely big bruise too!

I feel queasy just reading this....I have no sticky-out veins in my arm, last time I had a blood test they took it from the inside of my wrist and I passed out! came round to be fed chocolate buttons by a sympathetic nurse.....makes you feel a bit when you're 26 at the time ;o) Hope you feel better xx
