Huddersfield
07.25.04 (4:56 am)   [edit]
Anyone from Huddersfield? Or know what it's like? A. has an informal interview there on Wednesday to be transferred as assistant manager for 6 months but it could turn out to be permanent. On the plus side, it's commutable - only 50 minutes on the train, it's more money and he'll stay at the same level at the end of the 6 months if it doesn't end up being a permanent move. On the negative side, if it ends up being permanent, i can't see him doing the commute for ever which means at some point he's going to want to move, to Huddersfield. Hmmm, not sure about that one. Anyway, tbloggers, i'll let you know how he gets on!

Grandad would have to come with us, i don't think there's any way he'd cope on his own again. If we sold this place though for a good price, we would be able to afford something a bit bigger which would be good. It would mean a little bit more privacy, especially if we could get 2 bathrooms!
