It's just meant to be point and shoot but it's not doing anything except flashing the power light a few times & then nothing :-( posted by: Danette (reply) post date: 07.08.04 (6:38 am) Not to point out the obvious but is the card in correctly? posted by: mabraven (reply) post date: 07.08.04 (6:48 am) Reply to: Danette Yep, we've checked everything we can think of :-( posted by: Danette (reply) post date: 07.08.04 (4:00 pm) Reply to: mabraven What kind of camera is it? Could it be your focus settings? On mine there is a lag while it focuses before it captures the image. posted by: mabraven (reply) post date: 07.09.04 (2:34 am) Reply to: Danette Ummm, its a Kodak EasyShare CX6330. Don't think it's a focus lag 'cause it doesn't do anything after the power light flashes on. posted by: Danette (reply) post date: 07.09.04 (11:08 am) Reply to: mabraven Ok..did you try the trouble shooting on the Kodak site? http://wwwau.kodak.com/global/en/service/products/ekn026823.jhtml?pq-path=1114 It suggests that just because it powers up doesn't mean it's got enough power. Do you have a plug in adaptor you could try? If that works, you know it's the batteries or battery part posted by: mabraven (reply) post date: 07.09.04 (11:30 am) Reply to: Danette Dense old me didn't think of looking on the web! Thanks for the link - i shall go and have a look. We thought it was the batteries to start with but it's still the same with new ones. Will keep you posted & thanks for the help! |
