Digital cameras
07.08.04 (4:20 am)   [edit]
Anybody know how these things work? Have had one for a while that's not really been used. Anyway, 3 of our moggies were in perfect picture moment so A. decided to dig out the camera - and it won't work
The power light flashes on and that's all it does - nothing else. The batteries are fine, we've checked them so i'm at a loss as to why it doesn't work ( not being in the slightest bit technical minded ) Any help would be appreciated because A. is getting into a right old strop about it and at the rate he's going, he's going to end up lobbing it at someone.

What kind of camera is it? Could it be your focus settings? On mine there is a lag while it focuses before it captures the image.

Ummm, its a Kodak EasyShare CX6330. Don't think it's a focus lag 'cause it doesn't do anything after the power light flashes on.

Ok..did you try the trouble shooting on the Kodak site?

It suggests that just because it powers up doesn't mean it's got enough power. Do you have a plug in adaptor you could try? If that works, you know it's the batteries or battery part

Dense old me didn't think of looking on the web! Thanks for the link - i shall go and have a look. We thought it was the batteries to start with but it's still the same with new ones. Will keep you posted & thanks for the help!
