Thanks to everyone who responded about Bod. I am very worried about her. I was wondering whether it could be psychological - do cats have psychological problems? She's become very solitary, ignoring her brother and only coming out of her new hiding place when it's grub time. She still sings her head off to me though and loves her cuddles & treats, she seems happy enough in herself so i am puzzled. The only other thing she's started doing is not using her litter tray to wee - she keeps going by the back door. I'm at a loss and all the vet said when i asked about this was don't worry.

no, she's not, at least not at the moment! The only reason i'm worried is because she's been like this now for over 3 weeks and i'm clueless.

daft thought mab but when snugs started weeing by the door like that it was cystitis starting up - sure it's not that as you'd know by now....no other ideas sorry....hope she's ok

That crossed my mind but as that's what Spud did when all his kidney problems started, we've pretty much ruled that out. It's like she just doesn't want to use the litter box.
